MagBooth was lucky enough to be invited to bring a photo booth by the Battle at the Berrics V a few weeks ago in downtown Las Angeles. For those of you that are unfamiliar The Berrics is a private facility in LA that is frequented by the creme de le creme of skateboarding today. The Battle at the Berrics is similar to a game of HORSE played on the basketball court but instead of shots skaters match each other trick for trick in a game of SKATE. The finals are the equivalent to the SuperBowl so it was an honor to take a MagBooth to capture some of the action.
MagBooth is looking forward to a great relationship with the Berrics. From a chance meeting in Austin Texas with Steve Berra, to another chance meeting with Eric Koston in Tallahassee with Maggie, it was great to finally be able to work together. Also another fun fact is that the skate park started at Steve Berra and Eric Kostons training facility. Their names combined create the Berrics.
Below is one of the many videos posted on the Berrics of the action. Keep an eye out around the 24 second mark for a glimpse of the booth being used and around the 3:13 mark for yours truly enjoying the worlds best doing what they do best, skateboarding.
